KEEGAN, JAMES J. Jr. of Norwood passed away peacefully on August 16, 2017 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Marie B. (Grady) Keegan. Devoted father of Kathleen Foley of Wrentham, James P. Keegan and his wife Betsy of N. Attleboro, Christine Arbogast of Norwood, Michael Keegan and his wife Debra West of Wayland, Thomas Keegan of Sudbury, Donna Boselli and her husband Ken of Norfolk and Linda Joquin and her husband Paul of Wrentham. Cherished grandfather of Colleen and her husband Joe Bianculli, Kevin and his wife Rebecca Foley, Jimmy, Erin and her husband Rodri Alvarez and Elizabeth Keegan, John, Gregory and Brendan Arbogast, Nolan and Sean Keegan, Christopher, Ryan(Corporal, USMC) and Joseph Boselli, and Madeleine and Ben Joquin. Great grandfather of Rocco, Sonny and Grady Bianculli, Mac and Eve Foley and Alba Alvarez. Also many nieces and nephews. Loving brother of Fr. Martin Keegan (Maryknoll Fathers) and the late William Keegan and Catherine Keegan. Son of the late James and Mary (Nolan) Keegan. James was a member of the Norwood Knights of Columbus Council 252, the Norwood Irish Music Club, the Irish Cultural Center, the Marine Corps League and the Norwood VFW. Jim loved his faith, his family, his Irish heritage and the Marine Corps. He was a strong supporter of Norwood Youth Sports and "Santa" to many generations of children. He was a compassionate, dedicated and unsung volunteer for many causes as well as a mentor for many kids as a baseball and basketball coach. Jim was the Founder and Owner of Keegan Roller Kare. Funeral from the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, Monday August 21, 2017. Visiting hours will be held on Monday morning from 9:00 to 10:30am, followed by a funeral mass at 11:00am at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Norwood.  At the request of the family burial will be private. WWII US Marine Corps Veteran. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to St Catherine School, Muscular Dystrophy Association or the charity of your choice.
