Thomas Joseph Duffy

DUFFY, THOMAS Joseph of Norwood formerly of W. Roxbury passed away on Jan. 22, 2023 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of Marguerite "Midge" L. (Gormley) Duffy. Devoted father of Kathleen A. Bero and her husband G. Lawrence of Newport, RI, Denise McMullen and her husband William of Foxboro, and Thomas J. Duffy Jr. and his husband Michael Karpa of San Francisco, CA. Brother of the late Barbara Parlon, Ann Cooney, and Patricia Burke. Cherished grandfather of G. Lawrence Bero III and his wife Jennifer, Michaela Finn and her husband Nicholas, Kristen Covello and her husband James, and Liam Duffy McMullen and his fiancé Caitlin Dolan. Great grandfather of Sophia Covello. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Tom was a member of the Dedham VFW. He was also a Korean War US Navy Veteran. Visitation will be held Friday morning from 9-10 am at the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, 1248 Washington St. Norwood. A funeral mass will follow at 10:30 am at St. Mary's Church, E. Walpole. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, W. Roxbury. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Beacon Hospice 529 Main St., Suite 126, Charlestown, MA 02129.
