Alma L. (Fisher) Johnson

JOHNSON, ALMA L. (Fisher) of Norwood formerly of Walpole passed away on September 5, 2020 at the age of 102. Beloved wife of the late Clifford T. Johnson. Devoted mother of Marie L. Maxon and her husband Robert of TN, Beverly Ann Higgins and her husband Ed of Medway, Richard C. Johnson and his wife Carolyn of Canton and Robert Johnson and his late wife Priscilla of FL. Sister of Charles Fisher of Norwood, Judy Lukacewicz of Norfolk and the late Robert, Leon Jr., Oliver, Helen and William. Cherished grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Daughter of the late Leon F. and Helen (Smith) Fisher. Alma was a graduate of Walpole High School and then went on to graduate from the Sturdy Memorial Hospital school of nursing. She spent many years delivering babies at the Norwood Hospital working the night shift. After working at Norwood Hospital she worked for Dr. Mason, Dr. Kenney, Dr. Gannem and Dr. Perkins. Alma enjoyed gardening, bird watching and knitting especially afghans. All services will be held at a later date. Arrangements by the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home Norwood, MA.
