Andrew “Andy” P. Fraser, of Norwood, passed away Monday afternoon, July 1, 2024, at the age of 62 after a long illness.
The son of the late Harry A. and Laura M. (Boch) Fraser, Andy is survived by his loving wife Susan Lynch-Fraser and his dear siblings Kathy L. Fraser-Hurley of Beverly, Thomas F. Fraser and his wife Cathy Shipps Fraser of Bangor, ME, Evelyn A. Caron of Attleboro, Lisa D. Rose of Wrentham and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is also survived by his mother-in-law Carolyn Lynch of Westwood and her late husband Thomas D. Lynch, Sr. and their children; Michelle Toomey and her husband John of Franklin, Lauren Michalopolos and her husband Tom of SC, and Thomas D. Lynch, Jr. and his wife Pamela of Maynard.
He was predeceased by his stepson Ryan T. Lynch and his brother-in-law Stephen C. Caron.
Andy was born, raised and educated in Norwood where he had been a lifelong resident. He attended Norwood High School and graduated from Blue Hills Vocational School.
He had been employed as paint technician at Boch Automotive for over 30 years.
Blessed with the gift of gab, Andy never met a stranger and would strike up a conversation with anyone. He enjoyed his annual vacation on the cape, but his most favorite times were spent with family sitting around a firepit playing his music.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday, July 10th from 4-6 pm at the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood.
