A lifelong resident of Norwood, Angelo Frangiosa, 89, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2024. Born on April 1, 1935, in Norwood, he was the second of six children born to Salvatore and Angelina (Auciello) Frangiosa.
Angelo was a proud graduate of Norwood High School and spent over 50 years dedicated to his craft as a residential mason. He was the owner of Frangiosa & Sons Masonry, a business that he built with passion and commitment. An active member of Waters Church in Norwood, Angelo's faith was a cornerstone of his life.
He was married to his beloved wife Mary (Mullaney) Frangiosa for over 30 years before her passing in 2020. Angelo is survived by four sons: Salvatore Frangiosa of Norwood, Anthony Frangiosa of North Andover, Mark Frangiosa and his wife Liz of Centerville, and Angelo Frangiosa and his wife Tristan of Walpole. He was the cherished brother of Catherine Quinton Vance of South Carolina, Mary Frangiosa Creesy of Norwood, and Michael Frangiosa of Walpole. He was predeceased by his siblings Joseph Frangiosa and Lucille “Lucy” Leate.
Angelo's legacy includes eight grandchildren: Alana, Alexandra, Melinda, Wayne, Lucas, Jonah, Cole, and Cameron, as well as a great-granddaughter, Isabella. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2024, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, 1248 Washington Street, Norwood. A funeral service will follow at 10:30 a.m. at Waters Church, 668 Walpole Street, Norwood. Burial will take place at Highland Cemetery, Norwood.
