Annette R. (Boivin) Webber

May 4, 1927 — March 5, 2019

WEBBER, ANNETTE R. (Boivin) went home to God and to be with her cherished Eddie on March 5, 2019. Annette was the beloved wife of the late Edgar F. Webber of Norwood. She was the loving sister of Mrs. Louise Daley of Satellite Beach, FL, the late Reverend Henry P. Boivin and the late Jeanne Boivin. Annette was the devoted mother of James F. and his wife Dahlia of Newton, Thomas H. and his wife Amy of Los Angeles, CA, and John E. and his wife Cori-Lynn of Windsor CT. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, one great grandchild and many "favorite" nieces and nephews. Born and raised in Dorchester, Annette lived her life as a wife and mother in Norwood. A lifelong voracious reader, she had an insatiable curiosity about the world. She loved meeting people, hearing their stories and sharing hers. She was the original phone-a-friend. Her true passion in life was worrying about her friends and family
- she was a champion at that. We'll miss her wonderful personality, her sense of humor and quick wit, her sparkly pink and purple hats, and the ever-present tootsie pops she handed out to everyone. Annette's family would like to thank her terrific and supportive friends as well as her wonderful caregivers. You all made her life so much richer. Funeral from the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, Friday, March 15, 2019 at 9:30am followed by a funeral mass at 11am at St. Catherine of Siena Church Norwood. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 15, 2019 from 9:30am-10:30am. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery Norwood, MA. In lieu of flowers, to honor Annette's love of books and learning, donations can be made in her name to the Norwood Public Library or to a literacy program of your choice.
