Ashley A. Costello

January 8, 1993 — November 16, 2022

COSTELLO, ASHLEY A was born on January 8, 1993 and passed away on November 16th with her family by her side. She attended Walpole Public Schools.Ashley leaves behind her loving mother, Helena; her cherished daughter Aliyah Hope; her sister Jennifer (and husband Marc), brother Michael (and wife Erin); her sister Lissa and brother Cody. She was so proud to become an aunt at the age of 10 to Joshua and Brianna and then just a few years later to Reagan and Michael. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her loving father Paul.
For many years Ashley fought a heroic battle with addiction. She had tried many times to beat her addiction. She gave it all with the birth of her daughter Aliyah Hope. She was able to put together several years of sobriety, but the addiction always called her back.
Ashley loved her family and the world. But more than anyone else, she loved her daughter. She worked so hard to transform her life after she was born, returning to school, rekindling relationships with family so that she could provide for her daughter. We wish she had recognized the beauty and strength that everyone else saw in her.

We take comfort in knowing that Ashley is surrounded by light, free from the struggle that haunted her. We would have given anythingfor her to experience that freedom in this lifetime. We find comfort knowing she was well cared for in her final days by the staff at Boston Medical Center and wish to express our gratitude.
