Barbara Ann (Green) Matthies

MATTHIES, BARBARA Ann (Green) of Foxboro formerly of Norwood and Dorchester passed away on February 27, 2018 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Robert Matthies. Devoted Mother of Barbara Gustafson of Pawtucket, RI, Roberta Jenkins and her husband Chris of Foxboro, R. Michael Matthies and his wife Debbie of Quincy and Trisha Vega and her husband Keith of Foxboro. Sister of the late Robert Green, John Green, Bertha Mudge and Mary "Bebe" Butts. Daughter of the late George Henry Green and Annie (DeGraan) Green. Cherished grandmother of 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandson and 1 late great grandson. Barbara was a Former member of St. Matthew's Church in Dorchester and St. Catherine of Siena Church Norwood and she was also a former member of the Ladies Sodality and Catholic Women's Club at both Church's. Funeral from the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington Street Norwood, Saturday March 3, 2018 at 9am followed by a funeral mass at 10am in St. Timothy's Church Norwood. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, March 2, 2018 from 4-8pm. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery Norwood, MA.
