Blanche R. (Trask) Surette

SURETTE, BLANCHE R. (Trask) a lifelong resident of Norwood passed away on August 5, 2017 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Francis J. Surette. Devoted mother of Francis R. Surette and his wife Cindy Weixel of VA, Joanie Surette and her partner Cardinal Hughes of MD, Paul W. Surette and his wife Kascha Piotrzkowski of Norwood and Mary Jane Surette of Upton. Cherished grandmother of Sharon, Andrea, Hannah and Harry. Daughter of the late Benjamin and Anna V. (Tomasunas) Trask. Sister of many late Brothers and Sisters. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Blanche was a graduate of Norwood High School. She was a very active parishioner at St. Catherine of Siena Church Norwood and former member of the Ladies Sodality. Blanche was a volunteer for many years for the Norwood Meals on Wheels. Funeral from the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, MA Friday, August 11, 2017 at 10am followed by a funeral mass at 11am at St. Catherine of Siena Church Norwood. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday August 10, 2017 4-8pm. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery Norwood, MA.
