Bridget (Mcdonagh) Folan

FOLAN, BRIDGET (McDonagh) of Norwood born in Inverin, Galway, Ireland passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on June 21, 2021 at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Patrick J. Folan. Devoted mother of Kevin J. Folan of Norwood, Brian P. Folan of Norwood and Mary M. Bailat and her husband Claude of Billerica. Cherished grandmother of Deirdre, Shannon, Justin and Nathan. Sister of the late Patrick, Mary, John, Anne, Luke, Peter, Joseph, Martin, Sarah, and Seamus. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late James and Bridget (Folan) McDonagh. Bridget was a member of the Norwood Irish Music Club. She enjoyed traveling especially to destinations of worship such as the cathedrals in the USA and Canada, the cathedrals in Spain, Lourdes of France, and of course, Knock in Ireland. Her hobbies included woodworking, bingo, and hanging in Billerica with her grandkids. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, June 27, 2021 2-6pm at the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, MA 02062. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, June 28, 2021 11am at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Norwood. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery, Norwood. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to Seasons Hospice 1 Edgewater Dr. Norwood, MA 02062.
