Carol H. (Hughes) Mealey

MEALEY, Carol, H. (Hughes) of Norwood passed away on October 5, 2022, at the age of 85. Daughter of the late Donald and Helen (Quirk) Hughes. Beloved wife of 59 years to the late Thomas C. Mealey. Devoted mother of her daughter and caregiver Carol Ann Mealey-Frey of Norwood, son Robert and his wife Debra Nickerson of Norwood and son William and his companion Lynda A. Grasso of North Chelmsford. Most cherished grandmother of Thomas Frey of Bridgewater and his fiancée Colleen Hurley of Plymouth and Mark Frey of South Boston. Sister of Kathleen Lozier and her husband Gene of Norwood, James Hughes and his wife Ann of Norwood and the late Donald J. Hughes Jr and David L. Hughes. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Carol was a longtime Norwood Elementary School Teacher at the Balch School. At Carol's request all services will be private with a memorial mass to be planned in the future. Arrangements by the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, Norwood, MA.
