Carole Ann (Mullane) Cappuccio

CAPPUCCIO, CAROLE ANN (Mullane) of Norwood passed away at home on February 14, 2025 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Anthony Cappuccio. Devoted mother of Cheryl C. Kane and her husband Edward of Norton, Joseph A. Cappuccio of Virginia, and Carolyn C. Long and her husband Raymond of Vermont. Sister of James T. Mullane of S. Yarmouth and the late Thomas Mullane. Sister-in-law of Vincent Cappuccio and his wife Mary of Walpole. Cherished Gram of Katherine and her husband Justin, Emily and her fiancé Matthew, Lucas, Joseph “Max”, Sophia and Isabella. Daughter of the late Thomas J. and Mary A. (Hughes) Mullane. Lifelong friend of Marcia Gearty of Westwood. Also survived by many beloved cousins and friends. Carole lived her entire life in Norwood. She graduated from Norwood High School and St. Elizabeth's Nursing School. Carole dedicated her life to taking care of others with kindness, wisdom and humor. She began her career in the operating room at Norwood Hospital and then served as nurse at the Balch School for many years. She loved her time at the beach, traveling, reading and knitting. Carole was a longtime Board member of the Circle of Hope in Norwood. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2025 from 2-5pm at the Kraw Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, MA 02062. Funeral from the funeral home Monday February 24, 2025 at 10am followed by a funeral mass at 11am at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Norwood. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery, Norwood, MA.
