Charles A. McDevitt, age 65, of Wareham, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, September 13, 2026.

Born in Norwood, Massachusetts, Charles was the son of the late Charles T. and Helen R. (Sidlauskas) McDevitt. He was raised in Norwood and attended Norwood Public Schools.

Gifted with an eye for detail and craftsmanship, Charles worked as a contractor for many years. Most recently, he specialized in the design and construction of cabinetry.

In his spare time, Charles enjoyed playing darts and fishing.

Charles is survived by his siblings, Paul Mucinskas and his wife Anne of Foxborough and Nancy McDevitt of Florida, along with several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will greatly miss him.

In addition to his parents, Charles was predeceased by his sisters, Lenora Lane and Lynne Angstadt.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Charles privately.

He will be laid to rest with his parents in Highland Cemetery in Norwood.
