Charles P. Steiger Jr.

STEIGER, CHARLES P. Jr. of Norwood passed away on January 17, 2017 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of the late Adele M. (Frahm) Steiger. Devoted father of Kristina "Tina" M. Fitzgerald and her husband Robert "Bob" of Norwood, Karen L. Steiger and her husband Leonard "Lenny" Mulkowsky of CA, Kurt P. Steiger and his wife Kathy of Easton and Chris J. Steiger and his wife Paula of MI. Brother of Robert Steiger and Katherine Steiger both of MI. Cherished grandfather of Kara, Ryan, Brent, Dirk, Katie, Kaitlin, Jonathan and Brianne. Great grandfather of Kendall, Evan, Emily, Jackson and Logan. Son of the late Carl P. and Lillian (Laity) Steiger. Charles was a US Marine Corp WWII and Korean War Veteran and was very active in the Marine Corp League and Toys for Tots. A funeral home service will be held on Sunday January 22, 2017 5pm at the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, MA. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 2-5pm . Family and friends will meet on Monday Morning January 23, 2016 at 10am at the funeral home and process at 10:30am to the Mass National Cemetery Connery Ave. Bourne MA for a 12:30pm Graveside service with US Marine Corp military honors. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to Toys for Tots 21 Drydock Ave, Boston, MA 02210.
