Christine Mary (Fairfield) Collins

COLLINS, CHRISTINE Mary (Fairfield) of Norwood and Dartmouth passed away after a brief illness at the BI Hospital Needham on January 5, 2026 at the age of 62. Beloved wife of Thomas W. Collins. Daughter of the late Alfred J.Fairfield Jr. and Virginia M. (McGowan) Fairfield. Loving sister of Susan Ruskowski, Deborah Davis and her husband Frank, Laura Malinn, Robert Fairfield, Edward Fairfield and his wife Sandra, Alfred “Joe” J. Fairfield III and Victoria Hutchinson. Sister-in-law of John F. Collins III. Cherished Aunt of 20 nieces and nephews, 4 grand nieces and grand nephews and many cousins. Christine graduated from Millis High School class of 1981. She then went on to attend Plymouth State College. She started her work Adventures at BayBank for a few years before taking a job at Corporate Software and Image Tech and was currently working for the Town of Needham in the Treasurer’s office. She was loved by all her Friends and Co-Workers and will truly be missed. She also loved Traveling and going to Concerts and all day shopping with her Sister. She enjoyed spending time with her Friends and at Family gatherings and cookouts. But most of all she loved her cat “ Quinn” who provided her with such joy.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, January 11, 2026 from 2-5pm at the Kraw Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, MA 02062. Funeral from the funeral home Monday, January 12, 2026 at 10am followed by a funeral mass at 11am at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Norwood, MA. Burial will follow the mass at St. Mary’s Cemetery 1213 Kempton St. New Bedford/Dartmouth MA.
