Christopher James Eysie, 57, of Norwood, passed away on January 11, 2024, at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro after a long illness. His family is very grateful for the compassionate care he received from the wonderful staff. Beloved son of the late George and Helen (Seastrand) Eysie of Norwood, survived by his siblings, Helen Pavlosky (late John) of Norwood, Rayhme Cleary (Paul) of North Falmouth, George Eysie (Diana) of Kingston, Barbara Gallo of Norwood and Thomas Eysie (Kate) of Norwood. Loving uncle to 13 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. He found great joy and happiness being a proud uncle. A 1984 graduate of Norwood High School, he owned a successful interior design business for many years. He thrived in the spotlight whether he was giving a design seminar or performing in Dancing with the Norwood Stars. Chris will always be remembered for his creative eye and attention to detail which made him a talented interior designer. He was able to perfectly coordinate colors and fabrics in his home designs as well as in his fashionable outfits and extensive shoe collection. Chris will be greatly missed and remembered for his warm smile and vibrant personality. Visiting hours will be held at the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, 1248 Washington Street, Norwood, MA, on Friday, January 19, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral home service will be held Friday at 6:30pm. Burial will be private.
