COMEAU, COURTNEY C. of Norwood passed away on April 28, 2025 at the age of 93. Beloved husband of the late Carol A. (Farrell) Comeau. Devoted father of J. Allan Comeau and his wife Terra of WA, Catherine A. Girard and her husband Joseph of Norwood, Elise M. Comeau and her husband David Madden of Walpole and Wayne D. Comeau and his wife Stephanie of Plainville. Brother of Robert Comeau of FL and the late George Comeau. Son of the late Charles Courtney and Emilie M. Comeau. Cherished grandfather of Jackie, Jacob, Amanda, Brian (Michela) Joseph, Nicholas (Hannah), Alex and Gillian. Great grandfather of Brook, Curtis, Logan, Legend and Madeline. Cherished travel companion Michelle Gerrior. Courtney was a 1951 graduate of Waltham High School. He was a member of the Norwood Elks, the American Legion Post #440 in Newton and the Nutmeg Winnies in CT. Courtney was part of the Boy’s Scout Adult Training program. He was also a member of the Local #103 Electricians Union. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 from 4-7pm at the Kraw Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, MA. A funeral home service will be held 7pm on Wednesday May 7, 2025 at the conclusion of the visitation. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Norwood Senior Center 275 Prospect Street Suite 4, Norwood, MA 02062. Courtney was a Korean War US Air Force Veteran.
