Daniel J. Sayce

Daniel J. Sayce, of Norwood, passed away on August 10, 2023. He was 75 years old.


Daniel grew up in West Roxbury and was a graduate of Hyde Park High School. Following high school, Daniel go into the printing industry and later worked as a custodian for many years at the Balch School in Norwood. He loved music, especially Elvis and was an avid fisherman. He casted whenever and wherever he could. Daniel enjoyed traveling, taking cruises and visiting family, both in the US and in Germany. Above all else, he was happiest surrounded by his family.


Daniel was the loving father of Jody Williams and her husband George of Stoughton. Dear and devoted partner of Betsy Czehowski. Loving grandfather, "Papa," of George Jr., Taylor Rose, and Daniel. Dear brother of Constance Johnson of Walpole, Patricia Brennan of Duxbury, Richard Sayce of Walpole and the late John Sayce Jr., Joan Reisner, Francis Sayce, and Catherine Montal. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and his life-long best friend Gerry Mullen of Millis.


Daniel's Funeral from the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, 1248 Washington St. NORWOOD, Wednesday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Dedham, at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Tuesday 5-8 p.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Daniel's memory may be made to the charity of your choice. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.
