David P. Canniff

CANNIFF, DAVID P. of Franklin formerly of Norwood passed away on January 3, 2018 at the age of 65. Son of the late Nelson J. and Mary M. (Flaherty) Canniff. Loving Brother of Eileen M. Canniff of Norwood and the late Nelson J. and John F. Canniff. Brother in Law of Mary Canniff and her husband Joseph Mulkern of Wareham and Nieves Canniff of Denver, CO. Cherished Uncle of 4 Nieces, Jennifer, Natalie, Bridget, Kay and 1 Nephew, Greg. David graduated from BC High School and then went on to graduate from Stonehill College. He was a former employee for 3 Com Co. in Framingham. David had a quick wit, a ready smile and a kind word for everyone, which endeared him to friends and family alike. He had many lifelong friends and easily made friends along the way. He was an avid golfer since he was a teenager. His greatest attribute was his love of family and he will be greatly missed by all. Funeral from the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, Friday Jan. 12, 2018 at 8am followed by a funeral mass at 9am in St. Catherine of Siena Church Norwood. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018 from 4-8pm. At the request of the family burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to the American Diabetes Assoc. 260 Cochituate Rd #200, Framingham, MA 01701 or to a charity of your choice.
