David A. “Dave” Siekman, age 50, of Norwood, passed away on the morning of Sunday, April 12, 2026, in his home. He was a loving and devoted husband of 19 years to Carol (McCrorey) Siekman. Above all, he was a dedicated and caring father to his three children, Charlotte, Joseph, and Daniel, who were truly the greatest joys of his life.
Born in Framingham, Dave was one of three children born to Mary E. (Allen) Siekman and the late Albert J. Siekman. He spent most of his younger years growing up in Wrentham. Dave was a graduate of Xaverian Brothers High School, Class of 1993, and continued his education at Merrimack College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.
Dave was a dedicated professional whose strong work ethic and integrity defined his career in the insurance industry. Starting as a customer service representative with Plymouth Rock, he quickly advanced into leadership roles. He went on to work with several insurance companies, most recently serving as Director of Small/Mid Business Insurance Placement at Acrisure, where he was highly respected by colleagues and clients alike.
Outside of work, Dave found joy in cheering on the New England Patriots—where he was a proud season ticket holder—and the Boston Red Sox. He loved spending time in Harwich Port and Narragansett, often strolling to his favorite local spots with family and great friends. Dave never missed an opportunity to bring people together and was always ready for a celebration, welcoming all into his home with open arms.
Family meant everything to Dave. He took immense pride in his children’s accomplishments and was a constant, supportive presence in their lives. His impact extended throughout the Norwood community through coaching and his involvement with Norwood Youth Soccer and Basketball.
In addition to his beloved wife, children, and mother, He was a cherished brother to Laura Canon and her husband James and Stephen Siekman and his wife Chimene. Dave is also lovingly remembered by his sibling-in-laws: Paul McCrorey and his wife Kerri; Eileen Droney and her husband Kevin; Christine McCrorey; Maura Vitiello and her husband Frank; and Michael McCrorey and his wife Donna—along with many dear nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
