Dean E. Raymond

RAYMOND, DEAN E. (Retired Norwood Police Officer) of Norwood passed away on December 16, 2020 at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Margaret B. (O'Reilly) Raymond. Devoted father of Pamela J. Bedford and her husband Peter of NH, Lynn A. Raymond of Chestnut Hill, Allen D. Raymond of NH, Diana Young of FL, Jennifer K. Harper and her husband Samuel of CT and Dean E. Raymond Jr. of South Boston. Brother of Reid E. Raymond of VA and the late Linda Soulard. Grandfather of Kelsey, Logan Emerson, Austin, Shaylia and Rayven. Son of the late Linwood E. and Helen G. (Reid) Raymond. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Dean was a retired Police Officer working as an ID Specialist for the Norwood Police Dept. retiring in 2003. He was also a member of the Walpole Fish and Game Club, member of the Port Norfolk Yacht Club and a US Navy Veteran serving on the USS Wasp (CVS-18). Visiting hours will be held on Monday, December 21, 2020 4-8pm at the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, MA. The family will hold a private funeral service on Tuesday. A graveside service will be held at Highland Cemetery, Norwood Tuesday, December 22, 2020 11:45am with all welcome to attend following all covid-19 restrictions with masks and distancing. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to ALS Clinic at the VA Boston Healthcare System 1400 VFW Parkway West Roxbury MA 02132.
