Dennis "Hawk" M. Heelen

HEELEN, DENNIS M. "Hawk" of N. Attleboro formerly of Walpole passed away suddenly on November 24, 2021 at the age of 61. Devoted father of Sean D. Heelen and Matthew J. Heelen both of Walpole. Former husband of Nancy J. (Sullivan) Heelen of Walpole. Brother of David F. Heelen Jr. of Norwood and the late Lorraine Brooks and Claire Palumbo. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Son of the late David F. Heelen Sr. and Rita M. (Williams) Heelen. Dennis was a member of the Teamsters Amtrak Union and was a longtime Trackman. Dennis loved New England Sport teams, Red Sox, Celtics, Patriots and most of all the Boston Bruins. Dennis enjoyed coaching his boys in town sports, he was the biggest, loudest fan in the crowd. He loved the game of golf and openly admitted he wasn't very good. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, December 3rd, 2021 from 4-6pm at the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, MA 02062.
