Dorma J. (Ambrose) Gonser

GONSER, DORMA J. (Ambrose) of Westwood passed away on January 12, 2022 at the age of 88. Wife of the late Carl W. Gonser. Devoted mother of Karl W. Gonser and his wife Rossana of Walpole and Douglas W. Gonser and his wife Loren of Medfield. Sister of Richard Wesson of Rockland, Susan Studeny of Raynham, Deborah Hadlock of Douglas and the late Michael, Billy and Jimmy. Cherished grandmother of Ainsley, Mitchell, Tianna, Colby, Gianluca and Brett. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late William and Gladys (Wesson) Ambrose. Dorma retired from Westwood Public Schools Special Education Department after 30 years. Dorma was a member of the Irish Social Club in West Roxbury where she loved to dance. She enjoyed traveling all over and especially cherished her trips to Ireland. Her family meant the world to her and she embraced all of the birthdays, holidays and time spent with them. Dorma adored her six grandchildren and would often say they each held a special place in her heart. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022 10am at St. Timothy Parish 650 Nichols St. Norwood, MA. Burial will follow at New Westwood Cemetery, Westwood, MA.
