Edward J. Mcneil

McNEIL, EDWARD J. of Norwood passed away on March 26, 2023 at the age of 83 at the Foremost Nursing Home in Sharon after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's. Beloved husband of Joan M. (Piscatelli) McNeil. Devoted father of Edward G. McNeil and his wife Carrie A. of Stoughton and Michael J. McNeil of Norwood. Brother of George J. McNeil of Arlington, Mary I. McNeil of CA and the late Marion Nickerson. Cherished grandfather of Charlie McNeil. Son of the late George L. and Mary I. (Ahern) McNeil. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and will be remembered by many cherished friends. Edward was an electrician at Polaroid in Norwood for over 40 years. He was formerly a Town Meeting Member for the Town of Norwood and was a former member of the Norwood Elks. He was a longtime volunteer for the Meals on Wheels and the Norwood Food Pantry.
