Effie A. Sidiropoulou

SIDIROPOULOU, Rev. Dr. Effie of Norwood formerly of Katerini, Greece passed away on December 8, 2018 at the age of 78. Daughter of the late Alexandros Sidiropoulos and Galini (Kelesides) Sidiropoulou. Loving sister of Polianthi Kosmadakis of Sharon, Nafsika Kalemkerides of Norwood and the late Maria Giannakoulakou. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Effie was Executive Director of the Boston Christian Counseling Center and was the Assoc. Pastor of the Tremont Temple Baptist Church in Boston. She was a retired Lt. Col for the US Air Force Reserve as a Chaplain. Effie was a Co-Host of the Radio Program "Definition" on WEZE AM590. She also had multiple pastoral counseling positions in Boston and the surrounding areas for many years. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, Dec. 14, 2018 from 4-8pm at the Tremont Temple Baptist Church 88 Tremont St. Boston, MA 02108. Arrangements by the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home Norwood, MA. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2018 9am at the Tremont Temple Baptist Church Boston, MA. At the request of the family there will not be a funeral procession to the cemetery. Those who wish to attend the burial service following the Funeral Service please meet at the graveside at 12:30pm, Highland Cemetery 320 Winter St. Norwood, MA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to the Boston Christian Counseling Center 88 Tremont St. Boston, MA 02108.
