Elaine M. Turcotte

TURCOTTE, ELAINE M. of Westwood went home to be with the Lord on August 31, 2017 at the age of 67. Born April 14, 1950 in Boston, Massachusetts to the late Charles and Olga (Visocchi) Turcotte. Elaine was a graduate of Norwood Senior High School, class of 1968, and Boston State College, class of 1976, who devoted much of her life to a career in education, many volunteer efforts, her family, and her faith. She was known to have the biggest heart, a gentle soul, a deep passion for the arts, and love for animals. Elaine was the devoted mother of Christy Lynn Carter Gilbert and her husband Aaron of Walpole, middle sister of Abhay Anello of TX and Pamela Begley of FL, and cherished grandmother of Hailey and Aaron Gilbert. Family, friends, and others whose lives Elaine touched are invited to the funeral mass to be held on Friday, September 8, 2017 10am at St. Timothy's Church 650 Nichols Street Norwood, MA 02062. Burial will follow the funeral mass at Highland Cemetery Norwood. At the request of the family visitation will be omitted. Arrangements by the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home Norwood, MA.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations may be made in her name to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
