DiVIRGILIO, FILOMENA (Genovesi) of Dedham died peacefully on November 6, 2025 at the age of 101. Beloved wife of the late Emidio DiVirgilio, Sr. Devoted and loving mother of Emidio DiVirgilio, Jr. and his wife Teresa of Walpole. Devoted daughter of the late Nicola Genovesi and Michelina Prospero. Sister of the late Rafaello, Ferdinando, Giovanni, Antonio, Josepina, Angelina, and Lucia. Cherished Nonna of Christina DiVirgilio and her husband Joseph Wisialko of Westwood, and Anthony DiVirgilio and his wife Juliana of Arlington, Donna DiVirgilio, Darryl DiVirgilio, Susan Abdou, David Britt, and Carmen Ernest DiVirgilio. Great-Nonna of Leo Joseph Wisialko and Oliver George Wisialko. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025 from 8:30am-9:30am at the Kraw Kornack Funeral Home, 1248 Washington St., Norwood, MA. A funeral mass will be held following the visitation on Friday, November 14, 2025 at 10am in St. Mary’s Church, Dedham, MA. Burial will be at Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham, MA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Filomena to The Saint Vincent de Paul Society.
