Franca (Facchini) Dipietro

DiPietro, Franca (Facchini) of N. Attleboro formerly of Norwood passed away on February 16, 2024 at the age of 73. She was born on June 24, 1950 in her hometown of Sulmona, Italy. Franca was a strong woman of her faith, Roman Catholicism. She enjoyed the beach, cooking numerous Italian specialities for family and friends and caring for her loved ones as well as spending a night out at the casino. She was very proud of her family and heritage and we all enjoyed hearing the many stories she told.


Beloved wife of the late Bruno DiPietro. Devoted mother of Paula DiPietro and her fiancée Richard Deguilio Jr. of N. Attleboro and Michelle Higgins and her husband Christopher of Foxboro. Sister of Lorenzo Facchini of Canton. Cherished Nonni of Olivia Muise, Jonathan Higgins and Nicholas Higgins. Daughter of the late Giuseppe and Eva (DiBacco) Facchini. Also survived by Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, and Nephews.


Funeral from the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, MA Wednesday February 21, 2024 at 10am followed by a funeral mass at 11am at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Norwood. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 from 4-8pm. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery, Norwood, MA.
