Frederick T Tomm

Tomm, Frederick T. (Ted), age 96, of East Walpole, MA passed away on August 14, 2024 at his
summer home in Harrison, Maine surrounded by his loving family. Son of the late Jacob and
Mabel (Gusson) Tomm, brother of Joanne Yany and the late Rose Joseph, Najlae Solomon,
James Tomm and Eleanora Tomm. Cherished husband of 68 years to Elizabeth (Betty Mahony).
Loving father of Joseph F. Tomm and his wife Karen and Sarah Tomm. Adoring Pop of Jacob
Tomm and Rianna Tomm. Born in Norwood, MA on January 15, 1928, he graduated from
Norwood High School in 1945 and from St. Bonaventure University in 1951 with a Bachelor of
Business Administration. He served in the Philippines during World War II in the U.S. Army. He
went on to work for Cooper Tire and Rubber Company for 37 years. Ted enjoyed many
summers with his family at their home on Long Lake in Maine. Ted and Betty also enjoyed
spending winters in Jupiter, Florida. Our thanks to the compassionate and skilled staff of Hospice in Massachusetts and Maine especially Kris, Joan, Ann Marie and Jared. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend funeral services in celebration of Frederick's life on Wednesday morning at 11AM at St. George Orthodox Church, 6 Atwood Avenue, Norwood, at 11AM. Visitation will be prior to services from 10-11AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to your local Hospice care. The Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, Norwood is assisting the Tomm Family with arrangements.
