Genevieve "Betty" E. (Wallace) Generazo

GENERAZO, GENEVIEVE “Betty” E. (Wallace) of Norwood passed away peacefully on December 13, 2025, at the age of 86. She was the devoted wife of Ralph John Generazo of Norwood and a loving mother to Michael Generazo and his wife Jennifer of Kingston, Scott Generazo and his wife Doreen of Utah, and James Generazo and his wife Jennifer of Middleboro. She was the daughter of the late Genevieve and John Wallace.

Betty was a dear sister to Virginia “Gini” Homer of Mansfield, Dennis “Mike” Wallace of Florida, and Marguerite “Meg” Knieriem of Pennsylvania, and she was predeceased by her brothers Jack Wallace and Jim Wallace. She was a proud and adoring grandmother to John, Jake, Michael “Mikey,” Nicholas, Morgan, Isabella, and Tessa, often saying that “grandchildren are the dessert of life,” a sentiment she truly lived. She was also a cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews and shared a close and loving bond with her cousins.

In addition to her family, Betty was adored by all who knew her, and if you met Betty, you were instantly family. A lifelong member of the Norwood community, she was actively involved at St. Catherine of Siena Church for many years and treasured the friendships she formed throughout her life. She dedicated over 45 years of compassionate service as an Operating Room nurse at Norwood Hospital, where her steady presence, skill, and kindness were felt by colleagues and patients alike.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 PMat the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, 1248 Washington Street, Norwood, MA. A funeral service will take place on Friday, December 19, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at St. Catherine of Siena Church in Norwood. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery, Norwood.
