George "Joe" Barron

George "Joe" Barron of Norwood, passed away on March 24, 2025. He was 85 years old.
A lifelong resident of Norwood, Joe was an avid fisherman and a dog lover, spending much of his time for many years with his beloved dogs Rusty, Babe, Buffy, and Jody.

Joe was the dear and devoted husband of the late Dolores (Anzalone) Barron. Dear brother of Edward "Sonny" Barron and his wife Ann, David Barron and his wife Alda, Barbara Bennett and her late husband Bill, and the late Robert Barron. Half-brother of Georgia McLeester. Son of the late Edward and Helen (Tabaka) Barron. Brother-in-law of Richard Anzalone and his wife Christa, Joseph Anzalone, and Frederick Anzalone and his wife Maria. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Joe's Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at 12 noon at Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. in Norwood. Visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Joe's memory may be made to Catholic Charities of Boston, 275 W. Broadway, Boston, MA 02127 (ccab.org).

Joe will be laid to rest with his beloved Delores at Knollwood Cemetery in Canton.
