COFSKY, GEORGE M. JR, aged 92 and a lifelong resident of Norwood, Ma., left this earthly life in the early morning hours of May 1, 2024 to be reunited in heaven with his parents, George M. and Beatrice (Bauzis) Cofsky and his brothers, Robert and William. George, as his name implies, was the consummate husbandman, caring deeply for friends, family, fields, flowers and his farm. He touched and impacted the lives of all who knew him.

He was the beloved husband of nearly 68 years to Alice (Geishecker) Cofsky and the devoted father to Kathryn Lemaire (Christophe), George M. Cofsky III (Margaret Ashe), James Cofsky (Christine), Thomas Cofsky (Karen), Michael Cofsky (Joan), Kristin Laverty (Christopher) and John Cofsky (Gemma Watson). He was also the loving grandfather of 17 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He is survived by his dear sister, Patricia Dundulis, of Florida. George was a member of the Norwood Knights of Columbus and the Norfolk County Beekeepers Association.

Funeral arrangements are with the Kraw – Kornack Funeral Home at 1248 Washington Street in Norwood. Visitation hours are from 4 to 8 PM on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. Friends and family are invited to gather at 9:30 am on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at the funeral home. The funeral Mass at will be at 10:30 am at St. Mary Church, East Walpole. Burial will be private and at a later date.
