George J. Mcauley

McAULEY, GEORGE J. of Franklin formerly of Norwood passed away on February 5, 2022 at the age of 74. Son of the late Kenneth and Doris C. (Crawford) McAuley. Loving brother of Marion F. Campisano of Franklin, Carol A. Catania of Quincy and the late Robert McAuley. Cherished Uncle of George Mullen, Michael Mullen, Linda Hayes and Kristin Catania. Great Uncle of Jacqueline, Samantha, Daniel, Catherine and Nicole. George was a Vietnam US Marine Corp Veteran serving form 1967-1970 and was awarded the Purple Heart being wounded in action. He was also a member of the USS Jacob Jones VFW Post #2017 in Dedham, MA. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022 11am-1pm at the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, MA. A funeral home service will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022 12:45pm followed by a private burial. At the request of the family Masks are required at all services. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to the USS Jacob Jones VFW Post #2017 64 Eastern Ave. Dedham, MA 02026.
