George H. Wenstrom

WENSTROM, GEORGE H. a lifelong resident of Norwood passed away on September 12, 2016 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of the late Marie Jean (Montisano) Wenstrom. Devoted father of Deborah J. Chillemi and her husband Frank of Wrentham, Diane W. Laubenstein and her husband Robert of Foxboro, Susan Jones and her husband Thomas of Plainville and the late Alan B. Wenstrom. Loving brother of Pricilla Horton of Scituate and the late Cynthia Wenstrom, Marion Godfrey, Edith Gade and Bernard Wenstrom. Cherished grandfather of Jennifer Smith, Peter Chillemi, Taryn Laubenstein and Taylor Laubenstein. Great grandfather of Declan, Nathaniel and Aisling Smith. Son of  the late Otto B. and Esther (Gustavson) Wenstrom. Also survived by extended family and friends. George was a member of the Pipefitters Assoc. Local Union #537, member of the United Food & Commercial Workers International Union and a member of the United Assoc. of Journeyman & Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry. Funeral from the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, Thursday Sept. 15, 2016 at 9am followed by a funeral service at 10am at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church 24 Berwick St. Norwood, MA. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday Sept. 14, 2016 from 4-8pm. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery Norwood. US Navy Korean War Veteran Proudly serving aboard the USS Caperton.
