TROVATO, GERALD R. of Norwood passed away on June 27, 2017 at the age of 71. Beloved husband of 45 years to Judith M. (Saulnier) Trovato. Devoted father of Michael J. Trovato of Mansfield, Jennifer Flood and her husband Kevin of Norwood and Stephen J. Trovato and his wife Stephanie of Stoughton. Cherished grandfather of Lily Flood, Violet Flood and Jacob Gerald Trovato. Brother of T. Leo Trovato and his wife Claire of Marshfield and the late Mary Ann Joyce. Brother in Law of Charlie Joyce of Braintree. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Son of the late John and Lillian (Russo) Trovato. Gerald served in Vietnam with the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Funeral from the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, MA, Friday June 30, 2017 at 8am followed by a funeral mass at 9am in St. Catherine of Siena Church Norwood. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday June 29, 2017 from 4-8pm. At the request of the family burial will be private.
