Harold Main

MAIN, HAROLD was born on September 5,1938 and passed away on November 16,2024 at the age of 86. He is preceded by his beloved mother Martha Main and his longtime girlfriend Claudette Nargassans. Harold was a larger-than-life figure in the town of Norwood and on any given day could be found at local businesses, The police station/ fire station, Dunkin Donuts or at many Norwood Town meetings. He very often participated in the 4th of July parade. Harold loved Norwood and Norwood loved him. He was blessed to live at the Bradford house in Norwood and loved the staff and his housemates dearly. He later moved to the Hellenic nursing home in Canton, where he was surrounded by many special people who took wonderful care of him. He spent many days at Lifeworks and made wonderful friends there as well. Harold was a kind soul who will be greatly missed, especially by his dear friend Cheryl Germano. Rest in the sweet peace of Christ Harold. Visitation will be held on Friday morning November 22, 2024 from 9:00am-10:30am at the Kraw Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, MA. Following the visitation a funeral mass will be held Friday at 11:00am at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Norwood. Burial will be at New Calvary Cemetery, Boston, MA.
