Helen P. (Alty) Ivatts

IVATTS, HELEN P. (Alty) of Norwood passed away on April 15, 2024 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Robert H. Ivatts. Devoted mother of Linda A. Smart and her husband Harold of RI, Robert H. Ivatts Jr. and his wife Patti of Walpole, Timothy W. Ivatts and his wife Cheryl of Walpole, Scott F. Ivatts of Norwood, and Paul T. Ivatts and his wife Erin of Plainville. Sister of the late Kay Barry, Thomas Alty and David Alty. Cherished grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Thomas and Annie (Wall) Alty. Helen was a graduate of Norwood High School. Helen dedicated her life and love to her family. In the summer months, you would find Helen and her husband Bob with family and friends on Hog Island. Her heart will always be with her family in their cottage by the sea! Visiting hours will be held on Monday, April 22, 2024 from 4-8pm at the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, 1248 Washington St., Norwood, MA 02062. A funeral home service will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at 11am followed by a burial at Highland Cemetery, Norwood, MA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to the Good Shepherd Community Care, 160 Wells Avenue, Newton, MA 02459.
