Helen Theresa (O'Brien) Rasmussen

Helen Theresa (O'Brien) Rasmussen, of Norwood passed away on July 14, 2022 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Jorgen "Ed" S. Rasmussen. Devoted mother of Robert Reardon Jr. and his wife Nora of Quincy, John J. Reardon and his wife Cheryl of Mansfield, Michael F. Reardon and his wife Kathy of Canton, Richard E. Reardon of Bellingham, Christopher Charles Reardon of Boston, Irene Provencher of Kansas, Michael Rasmussen of Groton and Daniel Rasmussen of England. Sister of the late John, Mary Ann, William, George, and Donald. Cherished grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Helen was a volunteer at the Norwood Food Pantry. She was a member of the Norwood Senior Center and active member of the Do-Si-Doers. Helen enjoyed knitting Afghans and hats for the Veterans. Funeral from the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, Monday July 18, 2022 at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at 11am at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Norwood. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday 4-7 p.m. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery in Norwood. In lieu of flowers, donations in Helen's memory may be made to the Norwood Food Pantry 150 Chapel St. Norwood, MA 02062 or to the Hebrew Senior Life Hospice 80 Newbridge Way Dedham, MA 02026.
