GALLANT, HENRY P. “Hank” of Dedham formerly of Norwood and Canton passed away on June 15, 2026 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of the late Helen L. “Ellie” (Eckhardt) Gallant. Devoted father of Michelle M. Hugo and her husband Charles Hugo of Mansfield, Matthew W. Gallant of Norwood and Philip H. Gallant of Walpole. Brother of the late Dorothy Boyatzi. Cherished grandfather of Kat Wood and her husband Aaron Shields, Isaac Wood, Belle Gallant and her husband Derek Shaughnessy and Jake Gallant. Great grandfather of Savannah Shaughnessy. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Hank was a 1959 graduate of Canton High School and a former member of the Sharon Fish and Game Club. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2026 4-7pm at the Kraw Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington Street, Norwood, MA. Please meet directly at church on Friday, June 19, 2026 for a 10:30am funeral mass at St. Timothy’s Church 650 Nichols St. Norwood, MA. 02062. Burial will follow the funeral mass at Highland Cemetery, Norwood, MA. In lieu of flowers please make donations in his memory to a charity of your choice.
