Irene Frances (Wightman) Reilly

Irene Reilly of Norwood, MA, formerly of Roslindale, passed away peacefully at home at the age of 87 on August 8, 2024.
Irene was predeceased by her beloved husband William E. Reilly Jr., her son William E. Reilly III, and her sisters Marie Cram and Barbara Hogan.
The cherished daughter of the late William and Anna Wightman, Irene is survived by her sister Virginia Walter, her loving children Kevin Reilly and his wife Linda, Thomas Reilly and his longtime partner Linda Cullen Foley, and Kathleen Begley and her partner Paul Digiampietro, and her daughter-in-law Bette Reilly She was “nana” to her cherished grandchildren Kelly Antas and her husband Nelson, Ryan Begley, Timothy Reilly, Mackenzie Begley, Kyle Begley, Heather Reilly, Beth Tehan and Ryan Tehan all of Norwood. She also embraced the joy of being “great nanny” to her great grandson Oliver Antas.
Irene’s greatest joy in life was her family, especially being a grandmother. She was an enthusiastic cook who delighted in preparing meals for her loved ones. She enjoyed spending time watching her favorite game shows on TV and visiting her favorite stores.
Irene's warmth, kindness, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Funeral Services in Celebration of Irene's Life will be held from the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, 1248 Washington Street, Norwood, on Tuesday, August 13th at Noon. Visitation will be prior to services from 10AM-12PM. Interment will follow at the Highland Cemetery in Norwood.
