Jacqueline "Jackie" F. (Nardin) Flaherty

Flaherty, Jacqueline F (Nardin) “Jackie” of Norwood, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 30th, 2025, at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Joseph P. Flaherty (Ret. Det. Norwood PD) Devoted mother of Kathleen Juszkiewicz and her husband William of Millis, Joseph Flaherty Jr. (Ret. Norwood PD) of Norwood, Patricia Lessard and her husband Michael of Norwood, and Timothy Flaherty and his wife Barbara of Wisconsin. She was predeceased by her son Thomas Flaherty and survived by his wife Corazon of California. Jackie was blessed with fourteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren who loved her deeply. She was the sister of the late Vera, Gloria, Doris, and Jack. Jackie was also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Born on October 24th, 1929, in Norwood Massachusetts, she was the daughter of Augustus and Ella Nardin. Graduated from Norwood High School/Peabody School. Jackie was a retired data processor at Merck & Company.
Jackie’s greatest love first and foremost was for her family. Jackie and her husband Joe loved to spend time in Mashpee, MA and Port Charlotte, FL, with many hours spent swimming and boating with much of her family present. She was an avid self-taught jack of all trades. She had many skills in carpentry, electrical, and plumbing, having been involved in countless family projects.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home at 1248 Washington St, NORWOOD. A funeral home service will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 12noon followed by a burial in Highland Cemetery, Norwood.
