KILROY, JAMES J. Jr. of Norwood passed away on January 16, 2017 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of 59yrs to Wilma E. (Steck) Kilroy. Devoted father of James M. Kilroy and his wife Amy of NY, Kathi Kilroy-Ferragamo and her husband Guy of Walpole, Julie M. Pyliotis and her husband Andrew of Wrentham, Jacqueline F. Aquilio and her husband Eric of Wrentham and Robert F. Kilroy and his wife Kristin of Walpole. Brother of William F. Kilroy of Canton, Mary Theresa Kilroy of Westport, John Kilroy of CO, Francis X. Kilroy of Burlington and Thomas F. Kilroy of Jamaica Plain. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Son of the late James J. Kilroy Sr. and Delia M. (Maguire) Kilroy. James was a retired Financial Secretary for the Local IBEW #1505 and previously worked for 43 yrs. for Raytheon Co. as a Electrician. He was a member of the Local Union IBEW #1505. He ran many charity events for terminally ill children at Local Hospitals traveling with many local celebrities and one of the events was the Toy Parade. A funeral home service will be held on Friday January 20, 2017 10am at the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, MA. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday January 19, 2017 from 4-8pm. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery Norwood with US Army Military Honors. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to a Veterans Charity of your choice or to the Alzheimer's Assoc. 480 Pleasant St, Watertown, MA 02472. US Army Military Police Korean War and Vietnam Veteran.
