James Memmo

MEMMO, JAMES " Jimmy" a lifelong resident of Norwood passed away suddenly on March 8, 2023 at the age of 61. Son of the late Gerald F. Memmo Sr. and Anne (Vitaitis) Memmo. Loving brother of Caryl Dooley of Sagamore Beach, Rosemary Russell and her husband Robert of Walpole, Gerald F. Memmo Jr. and his wife Terry of Sagamore Beach, Loretta Bresette of FL and Paul Memmo and his wife Michelle of GA. Beloved family friends Katheen Buckley Allendorf, daughters Grace and Molly, and Patricia Tuli. Jimmy was an avid New England sports fan and was a 1980 graduate of Norwood High School. His strong Catholic faith led him to always try to help others and be respectful and kind to everyone he met. He enjoyed his weekly "paper route", delivering the paper to residents at Norwood Senior Housing. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 9-10:30am at the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, MA. A funeral mass will be held following the visitation at 11am at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Norwood. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery, Norwood.
