Janice M. (Mcbride) Power

POWER, JANICE M. (McBride) of Norwood passed away with her family by her side on July 23, 2025 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late William J. Power Jr. Devoted mother of William J. Power III and his wife Kathleen C. of Billerica, Andrew P. Power and his wife Gail M. of Norwood, John M. Power and his wife Lori of Middleton and David S. Power and his wife Christine A. of Waltham. Sister of the late Paul McBride and his wife Barbara McBride of Lexington. Daughter of the late Warren and Mildred (Farley) McBride. Cherished grandmother of Matthew, Caitlin, Derek, Nicole, Brendan, Ryan and Tyler. Janice graduated from Mt. St. Joseph High School in Brighton and then went on to get her undergraduate from Regis College and master’s degree from Simmons College. She was a longtime Home Economics Teacher for the Waltham Pubic Schools. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 from 9am-10am at the Kraw Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, MA. A funeral mass will be held following the visitation on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 10:30am at St Timothy’s Parish, Norwood, MA. Burial will be at Holyhood Cemetery, Brookline, MA.
