COCHRANE, JANINA S. (Jezulewicz) a lifelong resident of Norwood peacefully passed away on April 6, 2026 at the age of 88.

Janina was born in Norwood on December 27, 1936, she was the loving daughter of the late Michelina (Morkowska) and Stanley J. Jezulewicz. She spent her youth growing up in Norwood where she graduated in 1955. Janina, affectionately known to her family and friends as Jane, married the love of her life Raymond W. Cochrane on September 2, 1956. The young couple made their home in Norwood where they raised their three sons- Raymond, Michael, and Paul. Jane was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed cooking for her family and friends ensuring everyone was well fed.

She was a proud Polish American who loved dancing and listening to Polish music. She was a devoted fan of the Price is Right and Let’s Make a Deal. Most importantly, she was a lifelong Catholic who loved God, the Pope and spent every Sunday going to Mass until her later years where she would watch Sunday mass with her son Paul on TV.

Janina was predeceased by her late husband Raymond W. Cochrane. Janina is survived by her three sons; Raymond & his wife Donna, Michael, and Paul. She’s the proud grandmother of two granddaughters, who were her pride and joy- Kristina Cochrane of Foxboro, MA and Kaitlyn Cochrane and her partner Caleb Dyer of Rehoboth, MA and of course, her great grandpuppy Maisy.

Visiting hours will be held Wednesday morning, April 15, 2026 from 8:30am-10:30am at the Kraw Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St, Norwood, MA 02062. A funeral mass will follow the visitation on Wednesday April 15, 2026 at 11AM at Saint Catherine of Siena Church, Norwood, MA. Burial to follow at Highland Cemetery, Norwood, MA.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St, Catherine of Siena Church 547 Washington ST, Norwood, MA 02062 where Jane worked for several years.
