Joan P. (Ummey) Fruci

FRUCI, JOAN P. (Drummey) of Norwood passed away on Nov. 8, 2016 at the age of 82. Beloved mother of Barbara E. Walsh and her husband Thomas E. of Norwood, Robert F. Fruci and his companion Lisa of AZ, Michael J. Fruci and his wife Donna of Norwood, Patricia A. Dickson and her husband James of Norwood and William P. Fruci of Dedham. Sister of the late Mary E. Jennings. Daughter of the late John E. and Mary J. (Costello) Drummey. Cherished grandmother of 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Joan was a member of the Women's Auxillary for the Norwood American Legion Post #70 and Treasurer for the Norwood Debonnaires. A funeral home service will be held on Wednesday Nov. 16, 2016 10am at the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, MA 02062. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday Nov. 15, 2016 from 4-8pm. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery Norwood. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to ALS Assoc. Massachusetts Chapter 315 Norwood Park South, 1st Floor Norwood, MA 02062.
