Joanne M. (Karchunes) Brenn

BRENN, Joanne M (Karchunes) Of Walpole, MA. Joanne was born in Boston and raised in the Dorchester - Lower Mills area. She left us peacefully, at home, surrounded by her family on Sunday, January 10, 2021. She was 80 years young. She was married to the love of her life Robert F. Brenn (pre-deceased) for 39 years. She was the devoted mother of Laurie and Carl Abrahamson of Dedham, Kathryn McGowan of Norton, Linda and Rafael Palacios of Walpole, Carol Hansbury of Plainville, and Daniel and Aimee Brenn of Franklin. Joanne's greatest love was her children and grandchildren. She was the proud and loving grandmother of John and Heather Hansbury, Casey Hansbury (pre-deceased) Melissa and Michelle McGowan, Brian and Jen Abrahamson, Alec Abrahamson, Katie Hansbury, Mollie and Benjamin Brenn, and great-grandmother of Cady Hansbury. Joanne was the daughter of Eva (Malaguti) an Alec Karchunes, formerly of Mattapan. A remembrance celebration of Joanne's life will be held on a later date in the Spring of 2021. Arrangements by the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, Norwood, MA. Her private burial will be at Knollwood Memorial Park, 321 High Street, Canton, MA 02021.
