Joanne L. (Trovato) Avery

AVERY, JOANNE L. (Trovato) of Norwood formerly of Dedham passed away after a long battle with cancer surrounded by her loving family on October 8, 2018 at the age of 63. Devoted mother of Sean F. Avery and his wife Beth of S. Boston and Lauren M. Banks and her husband Joe of Mansfield. Loving daughter of Dorothy L. (McLellan) Trovato of Dedham and the late John B. Trovato. Sister of Jeanne Kozak and her husband Ken of Norwood, Judy Loftus and her husband James of Norwood, Jane Ritchie and her husband Walter of Norwood and the late John M. Trovato. Sister in Law of Ellie Trovato of E. Bridgewater. Long time companion of Dennis Sheppard of Weymouth. Cherished grandmother of Harper Banks. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood Friday, October 12, 2018 at 9:30am followed by a funeral mass at 10:30am at St. Timothy's Church Norwood. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 4-8pm. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery Norwood. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168.
