John William Hayes

HAYES, JOHN WILLIAM of Norwood passed away on September 8, 2018 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of June M. (McGillicuddy) Hayes. Devoted father of J. William Hayes and his wife Patricia of Ohio and Barry E. Hayes and his wife Laurie of South Dakota. Cherished grandfather of Matthew W. Hayes and Nichole Hayes. Son of the late John W. and Gertrude (Gorey) Hayes. John was a former member of the Norwood Finance Commission and the Norwood Housing Authority. He was a certified Master Dental Technician. Longtime member of the Norwood Sportsmen's Assoc. Funeral from the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, Friday Sept. 14, 2018 at 10am followed by a funeral mass at 11am at St. Catherine of Siena Church Norwood. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, Sept. 13, 2018 from 4-8pm. Burial with military honors will be at Highland Cemetery Norwood. US Air Force Korean War Veteran.
