John Michael Julian

John Michael Julian, of Norwood, passed away on Sunday August 4, 2024, at the Briarwood Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Needham. He was 81.
He was the only child of the late Michael and Helen (Owens) Julian. John, who also went by the name Jack, was born and raised in Norwood and was a graduate of Norwood High School (Class ’63). He worked for many years at American London in Norwood.
Jack loved Cape Cod and was an avid water skier in his younger years and loved to golf. He belonged to Quashnet Valley Country Club in Mashpee for many years. He even had a hole in one at Norwood Country Club, a proud accomplishment that he cherished. He enjoyed traveling to see America’s great outdoors, especially the old Western towns. Jack also loved collecting old coins and stamps from all over the world and was a fan of old Western TV shows and movies from his youth.
Jack was friendly neighbor and would always offer a hello as he sat on his front steps, or when he was taking his long walks. Many of these acquaintances would stop by to check up on Jack when his health was failing. He very much appreciated this neighborly kindness.
Graveside services will be held at the Highland Cemetery in Norwood on Saturday August 31, 2024 at 10am.
